How to Use Flush Cutters Pliers

There are various flush and semi flush cutter pliers available on the marketplace. Using your flush cutter pliers correctly will keep them operational for years to come.

Flush cutter pliers are most popularly used for cutting wire that will be exposed or needs to be even with the opposite end for a secure closure. Semi flush cutters are also a popular choice for many. However, the end of the wire will have a slight angle left remaining on the wire.

Directions

1. Align flat side of flush cutters with side of wire that will be used in your project.

2. Squeeze down cutters while holding other piece of wire with index finger and middle finger to prevent it from flying. For small pieces that can not be held, face your wire end down towards the table.

3. Use a mini metal or wire filing set to smooth out any rough edges or catchy ends.
